Who are we?
Hucoco is a fast-growing, direct-to-consumer startup distributing furniture online through French Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon). We achieved a 1,000% growth over the past 18 months, and we’re now looking to expand that success with our own B2C portal at the end of 2021.
We started as a remote-first company, with a global, fully distributed team across 10 countries. What’s the work about?
Having grown relatively quickly, we are now looking for a super-motivated and hands-on People & Culture manager who will embrace the chaos of startup life (aka space for initiatives, creativity and decision-making!) to bring some structure in our HR processes whilst still ensuring we keep our collaborative fast-moving culture as we grow our team size.
This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up, and be at the forefront of creating remote-teams best practices.
We are still very early in the process, so not going to pretend to know exactly what you will be doing.
You'll have to figure that out by auditing our current processes and culture, speak to the team and create a clear plan of actions for the set-up and ongoing management/ growth of this business unit.
Who are you?
Qualification: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field — a Master’s is a plus
Broad Experience: 5+ years of experience in People & Culture related roles
Personality: You have the patience to embrace the chaos — we are all in it together
Remote Aspect: You like to work independently & remotely — It's not for everyone
Bonus points for :
Language: You speak Polish &/or French ( hint - a lot of our team is located in those 2 countries)
Superpower: You have been a part of setting up an HR department from the ground up.
